The shot opens exactly on the start frame: a man in a black short-sleeved shirt, glasses and dark jeans crouches under a large old tea tree on a hillside tea garden, one hand on the trunk.
0–3 s: warm golden afternoon light. He smiles at the camera as the camera begins a slow, smooth push-in toward him.
3–6 s: dark storm clouds roll over and swallow the sun, and the whole scene drops to a cold blue-grey. A violent gust of wind thrashes the branches and whips dry leaves past the lens.
