# Wrecklight Salvage — GPT-6.1 Terra validation

- Artifact: `index.html` (14,442 bytes)
- Source: one complete document from a fresh GPT-6.1 Terra Codex session (Codex CLI 0.163.0, `gpt-6.1-terra`, reasoning effort medium, 67 s, 28,512 tokens reported), published without operator code changes
- Runtime: headless Chrome `156.0.8078.47` with offline `file://` loads and CDP key, pointer and button events
- Review date: 2026-10-27

These checks were run by the operator after delivery. They are not claims made by the authoring agent. No score, rank or rubric pass is claimed. The operator completed the full **earned** run from Phase 1 to victory, without using the review fixture.

| Check | Result | Evidence |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Complete standalone document | Pass | Has a doctype and a closing `</html>`, inline script only, no external asset or network API |
| Offline desktop and mobile load | Pass | The wreck map, walls, vault, two sockets, two cells, beacon zone, extraction gate, home dock and HUD all rendered, with no console error, page exception or outside request |
| Vault door blocks before power | Pass | Holding `ArrowRight` into the door stopped the tug at x 725, just short of the door at 740. The phase stayed `1 · RESTORE` |
| Cell pickup and install | Pass | A slow approach and `Space` gave `ATTACHMENT CELL`. Installing at Socket 1 gave `CELLS 1 / 2`, and the vault stayed closed |
| Two cells open the vault | Pass | The second install gave `CELLS 2 / 2` and `2 · RECOVER`, and the door geometry was removed |
| Attach, release and reattach | Pass | `ATTACHMENT REACTOR`, then `NONE`, then `REACTOR` on the same reactor |
| Phase 3 needs the reactor to clear the line | Pass | Phase 3 began only once the towed reactor was past the vault line, at reactor x 631 |
| Beacon arms the gate cycle | Pass | The gate went from `OPEN · STANDBY` to a live `OPEN · 2.9s` countdown and cycled OPEN → CLOSING → CLOSED (`CLOSED · 1.0s`) → OPEN |
| Gate transit | Pass | The reactor was towed through during an open window. The gate then closed behind it |
| Dock and detach | Pass | The reactor stopped in the dock at (195, 304), the cable was detached, and speed fell from 0.21 to 0.01 u/s |
| Honest victory | Pass | Settle reached `2.0 / 2.0s`, then `SALVAGE SECURED · Reactor safely settled in the dock`. The world stayed in place for inspection |
| Review: Phase 3 fixture | Pass | Loaded both cells installed, the vault open, the reactor attached, the beacon in standby, the persistent `REVIEW FIXTURE` label, and no victory |
| Closed-gate blocking and doorway linger | Not observed | Not run separately |

## Notes and defects

- At 1280×720 the 1250×750 canvas runs past the bottom of the viewport. The lower map edge and the on-screen controls need a scroll.
- The reactor is not drawn while the vault door is shut in Phase 1.
- The controller that drove this run read positions through a read-only state probe added to a private test copy. Every input was a real key event, and the published `index.html` is byte-identical to the model output.
