# Wrecklight Salvage — MiniMax M3.1 Flash validation

- Artifact: `index.html` (46,482 bytes)
- Source: complete document from a fresh MiniMax M3.1 Flash authoring agent on the DeepSeek Harness; packaged without operator code changes
- Runtime: Chrome `155.0.8059.84`, Node `v22.23.3`, offline `file://` CDP loads
- Review date: 2026-10-27

These are post-delivery operator checks, not authoring-agent claims. No numeric score or complete rubric passage is claimed. The artifact exposes no state hook, so every position below was recovered from canvas pixels and every outcome from the DOM panel; no internal variable was read or written.

| Check | Result | Evidence |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Complete standalone document | Pass | Doctype and closing `</html>` present; one inline script parsed with `new Function`; no external asset reference; no `fetch`, `XMLHttpRequest` or `WebSocket` |
| Offline desktop load | Pass | 1280×720 `file://` load produced a 950×720 canvas, the wreck map, the dock footprint, the beacon zone, the D-pad, `INTERACT`, `PAUSE`, `RESET` and `REVIEW: PHASE 3`; no console error, no page exception, no external request |
| Offline mobile load | Pass | 390×844 produced a 390×456 canvas with no horizontal overflow; `PAUSE`, `RESET` and `REVIEW: PHASE 3` stayed reachable |
| Initial phase state | Pass | `PHASE 1 · RESTORE`, `INSTALLED CELLS 0 / 2`, `VAULT SOCKETS empty / empty`, `VAULT DOOR SEALED`, `REACTOR TETHER DETACHED`, `EXTRACTION GATE STANDBY · OPEN`, `DOCK SETTLE 0.0 / 2.0 s`, `RUN STATE LIVE` |
| Review fixture loads (G5) | Pass | `REVIEW: PHASE 3` produced `PHASE 3 · EXTRACT`, `INSTALLED CELLS 2 / 2`, `VAULT SOCKETS alpha / beta`, `VAULT DOOR OPEN`, `REACTOR TETHER ATTACHED · 68 / 120`, `RUN STATE REVIEW FIXTURE`, the pill `PHASE 3 · REVIEW`, a persistent bar reading `REVIEW FIXTURE — NOT AN EARNED RUN`, and the objective line `REVIEW FIXTURE — exercise the extraction gate and the dock settle rules. Not an earned run.` The beacon was not armed and the gate stayed `STANDBY · OPEN` |
| Beacon arms the gate (G3) | Pass | Towing the reactor into the marked approach zone, reactor at world (427.6, 542.8), changed the gate row to `OPEN · 2.9 s` with a live countdown |
| Gate cycle and countdown (G3) | Pass | The gate row moved `OPEN · 2.9 s` → `OPEN · 1.0 s` → `CLOSED · 0.4 s` → `OPEN · 1.9 s` during one run, and the countdown always matched the drawn state |
| Towing keeps the same cargo (G2) | Pass | The reactor was towed from world x ≈ 668 to x ≈ 259 with the tug following, and the tether length stayed inside the 120-unit limit (HUD readings 68/120, 43/120, 87/120) |
| Tether release (G4) | Pass | `INTERACT` produced the toast `Tether released — the reactor keeps its momentum.` and the reactor speed read 22.21 u/s at that moment |
| Honest victory needs the dock, stillness and a detached cable (G4) | Pass | The settle counter stayed `0.0 / 2.0 s` while the reactor was moving. The speed decayed 11.80 → 6.51 → 3.59 → 1.95 → 1.07 → 0.59 → 0.32 → 0.18 → 0.10 u/s, and only below 0.15 u/s did the ring fill: 0.4 → 0.9 → 1.5 → 2.0/2.0 s, after which the banner appeared |
| Review is never presented as an earned run (G5) | Pass | The victory banner read `REVIEW FIXTURE — NOT AN EARNED RUN` with the subtitle `This is a deterministic late-game fixture. The win below is a mechanics check, not a completed salvage run.` |
| Earned Phase 1 progression (G1) | Not observed | The operator did not recover both cells and install them, so the vault opening and the Phase 1 → Phase 2 transition were not exercised in an ordinary run |
| Earned Phase 2 threshold (G2) | Not observed | The reactor was never towed out of the vault by an earned run, so the rule that the reactor itself must clear the threshold was not exercised outside the fixture |
| Runtime during interactions | Pass | No uncaught exception, no console error, no failed or external request across the whole fixture run |

## Limits and unchecked items

- Only the review fixture path was completed, so the rubric is not adjudicated: G1 and G2 remain not-observed. The brief requires an ordinary start-to-finish run as well as the fixture check, and that run was not performed.
- The amber `Closing` extension was not captured in a screenshot. The rule is visible in the source, but the operator run did not hold a body or the tether inside the doorway during a closing phase.
- The beacon approach zone renders its fill, dashed border and labels but no diagonal hatch, because an inner `beginPath` before `stroke` discards the path. Cosmetic only.
- An installed cell is drawn on its socket as a lit cradle with a glow and the word `CHARGED` rather than the battery sprite. Cosmetic only.
- In the zone screenshot the `REACTOR NOT IN ZONE · STANDBY` label overlaps the `BEACON APPROACH ZONE` caption. The two strings are readable but crowded.
- Tug position and reactor position were recovered from painted pixels, so a body fully hidden behind another body would not have been detected. The tug was tracked continuously through the run and never dropped out.
- Screenshots were captured but only the review, zone, dock and settle frames were visually reviewed.
